Life Is Strange sets in a school of photography and focuses on a student of photography named Maxine Caufield who comes back to town after about five years to reunite with her old friend named Chloe to find out about the sudden disappearance of Rachel Amber who is a fellow student. Meanwhile, Max came to know about her unknown power that she can rewind time. Due to this power she can affect past, present and future.
Plot:
This game is about a girl named Maxine Caufield who is 18 years old and on journey to become a photographer, on her journey she encounters many situations, that needs her interventions to change the out come. Due to her ability she can change the past and can make things right.
Gameplay:
It is a graphic adventure video game, played from the third person view. This game introduces the mechanic of rewinding time which allows the player to go back in past and redo any action other than what is done in past checkpoint. This change can alter and affect the story through short and long term consequences. Every action in this game shows the butterfly effect because it is a hand drawn work of art. Once an event is reset, the details provided earlier are permitted to avail themselves in future. Before time travel, collected items will be kept in inventory after the fact. The player can interact with objects indicated by User Interface of hand drawn icons, which enables the puzzle solving. Easter eggs are present in all levels of game to accommodate its exploratory traits.
