Halo 5: Guardians

Halo 5: Guardians is Sci-Fi, first person shooter game to be released in 2015. It is sequel to Halo 4. It is developed by 343 Industries and will be published by Microsoft Studio. It is Xbox One exclusive game and will run on 60 frames per second (FPS).

The developers announced its beta which took place from December 29, 2014 to January 18, 2015. It was a milestone during the development of this game. The beta consisted of a sampling arena which is a part of full Halo 5 multiplayer. Beta of this game focused on close teamwork in 4 vs 4 gameplay. The beta allowed players to experience new abilities of Spartan.

Plot:

When colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked, war broke out. Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 goes missing. And Spartan Locke is given a task to hunt down the Master Chief and solve the mystery that threatens their entire galaxy.

Gameplay:

Singleplayer:

In Halo 5, spartan abilities have replaced armor abilities by new set of gameplay enhancements which will be available to players at any time. Players mobility have been focused ; player can now use thruster pack (which can move in all directions) at all times, rapid covers or charge an enemy and can generate a shockwave by striking ground. Sprint function is present but shields of player doesn't recharge while sprinting. There is a new feature known as "Smart Scope", it allows the player to zoom/aim down the weapon's sight to become more specific while shooting your enemy. It have a special feature of split screen which will support upto two players.

Multiplayer:

343 Industries have highlighted the "arena shooter" aspect Halo's multiplayer gameplay. All the players will start with identical equipment. New abilities of Spartan will play good role in multiplayer; thruster pack will increase players mobility significantly. Smart scope will allow players to aim down their enemies. Many new weapons have been introduced in Halo 5's multiplayer.

Special Features:

Pros:

- Features new Spartan with new abilities.

- Legendary weapons.

- Smart Scope having zoom function.

- Bigger than Halo 4.

- Runs on Powerful engine.

Cons:

- Arena maps are small.

- Servers are garbage (in beta).

- Sprint, Clamber, and kill-cams are still some glaring issues.

Gamers Review:

After testing beta, many gamers like this game as compared to last parts. According to gamers, Beta was pretty fun and they are looking forward to the release of game. But some gamers don't like it because of Cons that are stated above. As this part of Halo doesn't continue to the story of Halo 4, it has not laid upon the expectations of Halo-gamers. But after the feedback of beta, this game is undergoing major changes.
